A monthly RIVERTON COMMUNITY MARKET will be starting on 24th Feb from 10 - 2pm out the back of Jacob's River Bakehouse. These market will take place on the last Saturday of the month with Flecks Hall as the wet weather venue.
This is an opportunity for everyone in our community (encompassing Western Southland) to start selling and trading items they have crafted or grown. If you don't currently have anything to sell, think about what you could make or grow to sell at future markets. We are keen to get children involved too so please help them figure out their passion and support them in making/growing something. Shared tables are totally fine!
If you would like a stall at the market, please contact me (Tamsin) on 02041409990 to book your space ($15 per standard size trestle table - 1.8 x 0.75 m, or $5 for children under 18 - please speak to me if you have a larger table).
We are also looking for buskers to take an hourly or half hourly slot so please let me know which time you would like and I'll sign you up (by the way... it's a great earner for any kid brave enough to give it a go!!)
This is going to be a fun event! The first one coincides with the Triathalon - please come along afterwards if your kids are competing! The next one is Easter Saturday so there should be plenty of people around town.
