April's Riverton Community Market
Despite the cold, rainy weather, we managed to pull off a vibrant but cozy market - full of good cheer (-and happy for a window of no rain whilst the stall-holders brought in their goods to set up)! Riverton was buzzing with souls on holiday for the long weekend so it was nice to see lots of new faces browsing the stalls and catching up with the locals. This is the first market I wasn't able to attend but it looks like it was a good one! This write up will therefore be super quick and mainly comprise of photos and video! February's Riverton Community Market
Thanks to those people who made it to the market despite the very average weather - it was lovely to see you! This month we had new stall holders from Ohai selling the most divine products including home-made beeswax candles and resin containers, and we also had hot tea, coffee and hot chocolate which was a lovely addition to our market. Among other things, I couldn't resist buying a beautiful hand-knitted snake from Nanny's yarns as well as some gorgeous flowers and shrubs

January Riverton Community Market 2026
It was a dreary weekend outside but inside the door of Flecks Hall there was light and laughter along with the beautiful stalls which (as always) were a feast for the eyes! One of the highlights from this market was listening to some foot stamping live acoustic music from 3 generations of Bickley boys - a banjo, two guitars and three voices.... soooooo good!! What a beautiful end to the year! The sun came out for the last Riverton Community Market of 2025 bringing lots of locals and travelers through the doors. Hello - I'm Tamsin, wife of Robin, mom of Oli (also Leo and Spanner ;-)), - living at very bottom of New Zealand in the beautiful town of Riverton. Aside from family and friends, the loves in my life are gardening, music, crafty things and anything within the realm of health. I'm partial to a good board game too.
