Our next market is Sunday 31st May!
This market falls on Kings Holiday Weekend and also coincides with the Riverton Retro Revival event so we will be in for a fun day!!

Riverton Community Market is a great place to catch up with friends & family, find a boutique gift for someone special, and treat yourself to something nice! We hold this market on the last Sunday of every month fro 10am - 2pm (at Flecks Hall, opposite the supermarket) - watch this space for future developments..
Our intentions are to:

bring our community together on a regular basis,

support local enterprise (and encourage our children with their enterprises)

provide opportunities for local people to sell their crafts, products & produce,

facilitate our community in meeting local suppliers,

encourage sharing, giving and trading,

support local fundraisers,

encourage and support our local musicians

share knowledge,

BAKING COMPETITION:
Exciting news!! We will hold a XXX to be announced Competition at the next Riverton Community Market on Sunday the 31st May. Made by the community, judged by the community. So pull out your best recipes and get your bake on!
All entries must be at the market by midday which is when the taste testing starts. The prize is $75 cash! The winner will be announced at 1.30pm. Please provide the following information to go with your entry:

your name and phone number (this can be on the back of the card/paper)

the name of your entry and
-
the ingredient list.

Feet Treats from Annette's sock room
I knit adult socks, both long and short raised heel, in both wool and merino. I dye the wool myself so no two socks are ever the same. I also make crocheted, fingerless gloves with same wool.

At the upcoming market I will be selling 3D printed bag charms and earrings, 3D printed vases, hand-drawn badges and magnets, cards and prints of my original artwork, linocuts and some of my needle felting. They are all my own original work and the 3D printed products are all completely unique designs I have created. Commission illustrations are available for magnets and badges. I will do an illustration of a photo of your pet while you walk around the market. All you need to do is have a suitable photo of your chosen pet on your phone or printed out on paper. A rough guide line for suitable photos is to have a clear shot of the pet’s face (the body is not required) with minimal blurring in the pet’s face. Make sure it is not a video.
