Swan Homestead FLowers
Swan Homestead is a five acre property on the outskirts of Riverton. Six years ago we began planting a food forest with the aim to create habitat for creatures, insects and ourselves. As the forest grew so did we, learning new and valuable lessons on growing a variety ofplants and trees. After retraining as a florist, I decided to try my hand at growing flowers and have had a very enjoyable and successful first season. When you buy flowers from Swan Homestead you are directly supporting a small but valuable habitat that provides sanctuary and safety for all within it. We are spray free, local and committed to growing beautiful blooms for everyone to enjoy.

The Ferment Kitchen
PLEASE NOTE: Geraldine sadly can't make it tomorrow but will come to another event. Meanwhile, book onto the sourdough bread making course (below) on Thurs to learn how to make this delicious and health-giving bread.
The Ferment Kitchen will have some Caspian Sea yoghurt starters and delicious veggie ferments for sale. There will also be a fruit kvass demo at the market so you can learn how to make this health-promoting drink yourself.

Bowen Therapy is a gentle form of 'hands-on' bodywork that initiates and then facilitates the body’s own healing processes. It can quickly relieve pain and discomfort, moving you back into optimal alignment.
If you have an issue with pain or restriction in any part of your body, I invite you to come and have a 20 minute Bowen session (for just $20): this short session will give you a good idea of whether Bowen Therapy might help you. If you would like a specific time, feel free to book this in advance and I will hold that slot for you otherwise try your luck and see if I have anyone on the table when you're there.

Clinton Busby is currently setting up his own Youth Mentor Programme Empowering Tamariki/Rangatahi through Reindigenisation, this is achieved by regular activities of self sustained living such as planting of vegetables, hunting for wild animals, fishing off the rivers and moana etc etc It's through his own life's experiences why he is willing to give up his time to instill knowledge into our future leaders and his way of bringing communities together
Possum skin insoles - perfect for this time for year - they keep your toes toasty warm!! The backing is a thick, wool felt and sizes are small (NZ/UK4, Euro 37), medium (NZ/UK6, Euro 39), large (NZ/UK8, Euro 42) and child size (kids size 12). Happy to be supporting our local trappers and fur industry!
Hippie Daze
This range of magic is created by Ruby - 12yr old. Of course, under the watchful eye of her mum at Hippie Daze. Ruby has had a keen interest in all things healing and magic since she was born. At the moment she makes a selection of bathing products, cleansing tools, balms, candles, macrame and soon wants to offer oracle readings. All proceeds from Ruby sales remain with Ruby with most of it being reinvested into her branch of the business. Ruby is a young entrepreneur trying to make her way in the world, support is deeply appreciated.
Riverton Repair Cafe
The Riverton Repair Cafe invokes the philosophy of learning how to mend and make do, to extend the life of your belongings. Mary will be available with her sewing machine and Carolyne will be offering small jewellery repairs at her stall. What a wonderful community we live in!

A Little Bit of Everything
'A Little Bit of Everything' are two young sisters whom offers unique handmade and upcycled products.
We have been very busy making Just Soap and Scented Soaps for you to enjoy, a variety of polymer clay products, air-dry clay diffusers, homemade Gummy Bear lollies, an assortment of tasty rolled cookies, including gingerbread men. Also handmade Noughts and Crosses, three in a row game. We have concentrated Liquid Seaweed, made from local Kelp and H2O, your plants will thank you for a good feed of it.
Granny has an array of relish, chutneys, and jams all homemade from her spray-free garden produce. She also has a few varieties of flower seeds from her garden that you can take pleasure in planting and watch grow.
