January Riverton Community Market 2026

It was a dreary weekend outside but inside the door of Flecks Hall there was light and laughter along with the beautiful stalls which (as always) were a feast for the eyes! One of the highlights from this market was listening to some foot stamping live acoustic music from 3 generations of Bickley boys - a banjo, two guitars and three voices.... soooooo good!!

We had a new stall with young Faye selling her artwork... supported by her Dad and grandparents. I love how much effort and creativity she put into her stall - good work young lady! We also had the talented Nina, doing a roaring business with her pet pictures on magnets/badges commissions. I commissioned magnets of our cat and dog which are now on our fridge.

Our Banana Bread baking competition was a popular one with seven entries and plenty of people to taste test. Alicia and Rose, once more, won the competition. Congrats guys and thanks to all the other entrants! We will announce the next baking competition soon so watch this space.

The Raffle basket (-basket of love) was won by our lovely stallholder Julie - congrats Julie and enjoy all the goodies!
